In the guided visit to the 'Museo do Mel', you will discover and learn from Mari Fe, beekeeper of O Valadouro, fascinating things you didn't know about bees, honey and beekeeping.
Through this didactic visit, you will learn what life is like inside the hive and the different jobs that the beekeeper carries out from birth.
You will learn about the process of extracting the honey nowadays and how it was done in 1936, through the collection of tools that we keep as "authentic relics", and if time permits, we will show you the apiary in operation.
