The Cabo Burela Association keeps alive the traditional trade of net menders and the repair of fishing nets. In the past it was this group, made up exclusively of women, who repaired the nets, pots and other fishing devices. Nowadays, the work of the rederas is still an important sign of identity of the seafaring tradition of the Mariña Lucense and their role is still essential for the boats to be able to go out to sea. We complement the visit with the Reina del Carmen Museum Ship.
